Jon is the founder and Owner of Midwest Futures Baseball Organization. He formerly played professionally for the Florida/Miami Marlins, Gateway Grizzlies, River City Rascals, & Long Island Ducks. During his career he was awarded as All-American, All-Region, All-Conference, 1st Team All-State, and 2013 All-Star with the Grizzlies. Also led the Frontier League in homeruns with 25 in 2013.
Mike comes to Midwest Futures as co-owner with more than 14 years of instructing experience, having coached several professional and college-level players. He was drafted out of high school by the Cleveland Indians after an impressive showing with his team at Wentzville-Holt High School.
TJ is the former varsity pitching coach at Francis Howell High School. After his success as a 4-year starter at De Smet and 3-year All-State selection, he moved on to play at the college-level at both the University of Arkansas and the University of Missouri.
Donnie has ten years of experience coaching youth baseball. His goal as the Youth Director for the Midwest Futures is to help develop all players and make sure they acquire the physical and mental skills that it takes to play baseball in high school and beyond. He strives to guide and mentor players, both on and off the field, and foster a love and passion for the game of baseball in all players.
Tyler is a recent college graduate of Lindenwood University. While attending, he helped lead them to their first ever College World Series appearance. Prior to Lindenwood, he attended Jefferson College. A four-year starter in both baseball and soccer at Fort Zumwalt South, Tyler‘s experience while playing will bring a high level of knowledge in player performance for each athlete.
Forney- SCCC/ Hawaii Hilo/ Umsl alum and professional career in Switzerland. Austin comes with a lot of playing experience as a 2B and Closer. Coaching Experience- 5 years
Nathan Steen- SCCC/UMSL Alum and also coached at the collegiate level with both St. Charless CC and Division II UMSL.
